Directions: Post the answers on the Discussion Board and label each answer (A & B).

A. List the ONE reading from the following list that you think the assessment is mostly measuring (There may be some questions from each category, but to which topic are MOST of the questions referring.)
SINCE I LOOK FOR ORIGINALITY: If many students ahead of you have posted the one "top" reading that best illustrates the majority of questions on the assessment, choose the reading that the "second-most" illustrates many questions on the assessment. (There may be more than one appropriate reading anyway representing the majority of assessment questions.)
Readings: | |
Reading Source | Reading Title |
Charlesworth, Chapter 14 | The Help Your Heart Report Card:...(Type A/B Behavior) |
Charlesworth, Chapter 16 | The Movies of your Mind: Anxiety |
Charlesworth, Chapter 17 | The Second Feature: Anger |
Locus of Control Reading (click link) | Locus of Control Reading--Source unknown |
Charlesworth, Chapters 18, 19 & 20 | Assertiveness |
Charlesworth, Chapter 21 | Managing the Times of Your Life (Time Management) |
B. Discuss why you chose the reading you did by using details from the reading and the assessment to back up your claims. The assessment may be appropriate for more than one reading.
In short, this is a fictitious questionnaire. You are to examine the questions and determine which topic (anger, anxiety, time management, Type A/B behavior, Locus of Control, assertiveness) each question was measuring. Then you are determine which topic the majority of questions measured and back it up with data from the questionnaire.
C. On the Monday before the DB due date, and ONLY If you posted your original posting on or before MONDAY, you are to reply/respond thoughtfully, critically, and with originality and in-depth analysis to ONE other student's posting.
